Rhea Basu, MD, is an attending neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Associate Professor, Clinical Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Basu provides care for critically ill newborns, addressing a variety of acute and chronic medical needs. Her clinical focus includes neonatal hemodynamics and optimizing the growth and nutrition of preterm infants. In 2014, Dr Basu received her Bachelor of Science in biology and medical science from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. She then attended University of London, St. George’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom, earning her medical degree in 2018.
