Dr Kondragunta Rajendra ‘Raj’ Prasad is Surgical Director of the liver transplant program and a Professor of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has practiced high volume liver surgery for more than 20 years. He trained in three continents, starting his career as a Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals in UK. Throughout his career he has pioneered new techniques and services in liver transplantation and liver cancer surgery. These include techniques that enabled transplantation of very small children, transplant techniques to perform complex liver cancer surgeries, laparoscopic liver resections and living donor liver transplantation.
