Kulwinder Dua is currently a professor in the Department of Medicine and Pediatric (Gastroenterology) and professor in the School of Graduate Studies at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is the current chair of the World Endoscopy Organization Outreach Committee. Dr Dua’s primary interest has been in advanced interventional endoscopy. His other area of interest is studying aero-digestive tract physiology and pathophysiology including airway defense mechanisms against aspiration for which he was awarded NIH grant. He is an inventor and has several patents and FDA cleared devices. Dr Dua has over 200 publications in peer-reviewed journal and is on the editorial board of several journals.
