Daniel Marchalik, MD, MBA, is Director of the Kidney Stone Program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and a Professor of Urology at Georgetown University. He also leads the MedStar Health Center for Wellbeing. He treats kidney stone disease using advanced techniques like endoscopic laser surgery, shock wave therapy, and same-day tubeless mini-PCNL for large stones. He emphasizes prevention through medical and dietary strategies. Dr Marchalik graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University and earned his medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed residency at MedStar Georgetown and holds a master's in English Literature from Georgetown, where he directs the Literature and Medicine Track.
