Jonathan Hwang, MD, serves as Professor and Chair of Urology, Urologic Oncology and Robotic Prostatectomy, MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Professor of Urology at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Dr Hwang has performed over 4,000 robotic surgeries including over 3,500 robotic prostatectomies to date, more than any other urologic surgeons in the DMV region.
Under Dr Hwang’s leadership, the Department of Urology has received America’s 100 Best Hopsitals for Prostate Surgery Award by Healthgrades in 2022 as well as “high performing” designation by U.S. News and World Report in 2020 and 2021.
