Dr Stubbs, a primary care physician with a passion for rural community health, attended the Medical College of Virginia. After completing her residency at Carilion Clinic in 2013, she served as a primary care physician at Carilion Family Practice in Rocky Mount, VA, for 7 years. In 2020, she became the Medical Director for Franklin Health and Rehabilitation and the Franklin County Home Health Dementia Team. Dr Stubbs is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and serves on the Board of Directors for Franklin Memorial Hospital. Her interests include memory disorders, medical ethics, and advanced care planning. She teaches medical students and volunteers at the Remote Area Medical Clinic.
