Daniel St. Rose has provided psychotherapy to adults, children, and adolescents from diverse backgrounds for 15 years. He has worked with couples in distress, individual adults with issues of depression and anxiety, children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges, and families who are not able to function as a unit.
Prior to becoming an independent practitioner, Mr. St. Rose worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. He has conducted groups with adolescent boys, supervised social work interns, and presented on various psychological issues.
Mr. St. Rose's work with individual adults and couples focuses on helping clients explore the dynamics in their relationships, enhance awareness, and develop a better understanding of the unconscious conflicts and challenges in their lives. With this approach the individual can begin to gain insight and identify unknown, hidden feelings and thoughts which will allow for growth and change.
In working with older children and adolescents, he develops a relationship with parents/guardians and other professionals to understand the conflicts of the individual. He creates a safe space for play and expression of feelings while identifying strengths, struggles, and challenges to help the individual child/adolescent grow and be free of worry and distress.
