Lisa Gregory, Massage Therapist, Yoga & Pilates

Lisa Gregory, B.A., LMT, created Celestial Moon Wellness from her vision of an integrated therapeutic and holistic perspective to helping people overcome pain. Her journey to understanding wellness began at the age of thirteen, when she started her yoga practice. She has now been practicing kundalini yoga for over twenty years and teaching for eight. She was attuned a Reiki level III practitioner in 1999 and teaches all three levels of Reiki as well as providing Reiki sessions to her patients. Lisa became a Certified Massage Therapist in 2003, and has gone on to obtain certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Raindrop Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Lymph Drainage. She graduated from George Mason University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a minor in dance.

She is currently developing her craniosacral techniques to accommodate patients with an array of chronic dis-eases and also treats children. She is an accomplished musician and enjoys playing kirtan (devotional Indian music) whenever possible. She plans to continue her studies in music and yoga therapy while obtaining her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University. She sees music and meditation as a healing tool that can transform deeply embedded emotional patterns.

Lisa’s vision is to create and sustain a harmonious environment for her clients, using ancient healing practices that can be incorporated into the mainstream health industry. Through her personal experiences in utilizing yoga therapy, massage therapy and reiki, she has seen first hand the effectiveness of these modalities to reduce pain, increase functionality and bring about an increase in vitality and wellbeing in her clients, friends, family, and herself. It is her utmost joy to share what she has learned to benefit others, as she continues her lifelong journey of wellness.

It goes right into your heart and extends your consciousness so you may have a wider horizon of grace and of knowing the truth. Ultimately, you come to understand your existence in relationship to the universe and understand you already are, and this brings you to the practical experience of Infinity. You can then radiate creativity and Infinity in all aspects of your daily life.

I felt way too exposed during my massage. They didn't respect my privacy at all and I felt extremely uncomfortable. The massage therapist spent a little time with me before our session answering a few questions, but I really wish all of them could have been answered. One thing I was disappointed with was their sheets. They weren't very clean at all, and I was afraid to touch them. They definitely promised me a few things that they weren't able to fulfill. Most of what they said was accurate, but not all. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in the door. No one seemed to notice or care that I was there.
