Mine is a strength-based practice - focused on helping your child or adolescent move forward, strengthen sense of self and develop inner confidence, and using CBT within an interpersonal and family systems approach. With younger children (generally under 12), I like to involve parents in the process. With adolescents, I coach them on how to involve their parents in helping the adolescent move forward.

Having specialized in children and adolescents for over 15 years, I work with most childhood issues, including mood disorders, eating disorders, oppositional defiant d/o and self-harm; also family problems such as sibling and parent-child conflict.
Anxiety is the most common mental health issue in children and adolescents and is an area I specialize in. I am also trained in the use of EMDR for trauma. Additional Services Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, Parent-Child issues

She bailed after 2 years of seeing my child through a brief condescending email while my child was in the middle of a crisis. She never offered or attempted to have an exit appointment with my child. Her reaction to my attempts at discussion were to tell me to talk it out with a therapist. She is quite rude and seems to only be in it for the money.
