I am Board-Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Washington (#461). I am also a Board-Certified Senior Disability Analyst, and Board-Certified by the American Board of Medical Psychotherapy & Psychodiagnostics.
I have been in practice since 1973, first in Quebec and then in Washington. I have lived and practiced in Whatcom County since 1981.
I am recognized in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and am a preferred provider for most insurance companies as well as Medicare and Tricare. Psychological testing results are ready within 72 hrs, and a written report with practical recommendations is sent within 5 days. Brief therapy is completed by most people within 3-10 sessions, with a treatment plan being sent to your physician.
I grew up in Texas and then took my psychology degrees from Colorado College (B.A.) & Brown University (Sc.M., Ph.D.). I took internships at the Allen Memorial Institute of Psychiatry, Montreal General Hospital, and the University of Washington. I also completed a 3 yr program at the Seattle Psychoanalytic Institute.
I’ve also worked with others on critical incident stress management with law enforcement, schools, the media, and industries. I am a MENSA and member of the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs. I attend Truth Tabernacle apostolic Pentecostal church on the Hannegan Rd, and I am a provider for Focus on the Family. I look forward to hearing from you!
