Currently a resident at Indianola Good Sam My VISA disappeared before Christmas. While it was gone, 500 was spent off the balance. One of the Aides who took the card brought it back, and obviously ripped it off.
Facility did nothing, and when I called police facility has refused to cooperate with ,me even though they are aware money was taken while
card (stolen card) was in one of their staffs hands..

Should note they requested I not contact the police initially so they
could investigate, I felt it was a crime and law should be involved.
Felt like facility is covering their butts instead of helping a resident
who had their money stolen.

In refusing to assist me or the police, they are running up a bill I
will be hard pressed to pay.
Staff Lucas and Megan acting on admin orders.

I planned on going home on 10th of month and am unable to do so due to theft of my money.

Am sure Good Sam overall is an excellent organization, but this
facility is run by people who do not deserve the title caregiver,
and strongly suggest serious second thought before committing a loved one to this facility.

I am very pleased with the care my relative has received at Good Sams. The staff are very friendly and truly care about him, knowing little details you might not expect them to know. I highly recommend this facility for nursing home care.
