They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. <-- That's from the questions this gave me. Dr. Yoffe is an all-over good doctor, and he did a great job on my teeth (I had a huge gap in the front and two of my lower teeth were twisted; they look fantastic now). My only complaint is when I want to get my braces off. I had an appt. in July, and when I asked him about getting them off, he only stated "couple more alterations, couple more months". I've had them on for 2.5 years and was so upset, I actually started to cry. He wasn't very sympathetic, and only said there was a paper I could sign; never gave me info on that. When I went in today, I again asked about the paper, to which he responded that I'd have to talk to the lady in the front about it. I did; I said I was done with treatment and wanted the braces off as soon as possible. I asked if there was a possibility of getting them off in August, before my birthday in 3 weeks.. plenty of time, right? The woman, her name escapes me!!!, tried to make it easier on me and the staff by having my braces removed that day. Dr. Yoffe didn't like that so much; he stated that with the adjustment, my teeth would move, thus if I was fit for a retainer and it didn't fit, I'd have to pay for a new one; it was "my risk, my fee" (his EXACT words!). So, I said okay; wasn't too upset about it, being only a few more weeks. While making my next appt, I CLEARLY heard him tell someone, "People cannot just come in the second week of August and ask for their braces to be removed in August". My thought, I told him I wanted them off in July, and he did not provide adequate information to me. If he had told me to talk to the lady in the front in July, I wouldn't have felt, and looked, like a complete fool. His work, exceptional. His staff, wonderful! Dr. Yoffe himself needs to gain some compassion for his patients and actually learn to give adequate information if he wants to keep his business. If it weren't for his staff being so nice, and INFORMATIVE, I'd have left months ago! I'd recommend for the work... like I said, exceptional doctor... but be prepared for confusion and, sometimes, hurt feelings!

When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. Not only did this orthodontist not offer alternatives to metal braces, but they couldn't, or wouldn't, refer me to someone who did offer those services. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long.
