This guy was something else...
Unfortunately, due to major medical issues, I was reduced to applying for Medicaid. Because of this, he told me 'you're on Medicaid, so I can only spend 6 minutes with you.' And that was just the beginning...
I have major back and neck issues (bulging discs, arthritis, muscle knots everywhere, etc. By the end of my 6 minutes with him, I was left with a hand-written note advising me on what to do.
#1 on that list? 'Deal with it.' And it went on from there- suggesting I 'pray' and 'take Advil.' WTF?!
Thank goodness, he suggested an Orthopedic Surgeon in Fort Dodge who was 'more aggressive' (yikes!). I ended up going to Dr. Luna, who would finally be the one to not only do my back surgery but also my 2nd knee replacement.
I still have the note Dr. McGuire wrote me. I keep it with the rest of my medical records...so I can show those who doubt a dr. would say this to someone.

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
