then he completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan
Training Dr. Fiala completed a Plastic Surgery Research Fellowship at Harvard Universitys Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, Dr. Fiala was selected for a prestigious postgraduate Fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery with Dr. John Q. Owsley at the University of California, San Francisco.
Affiliations Dr. Fiala is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is dual certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).

Dr. Fiala and his staff and just wonderful. From the initial consultation to surgery day, everyone is great. Dr. Fiala took extra time with me during my consult to ensure I was going to be happy with my results. He explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. His recommendations were spot on with what I wanted. His work is beautiful. The incisions are almost unnoticeable and I am very pleased with the results. The staff is always friendly, patient and very helpful. I have emailed, called and had extra questions during my visits and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. I even had a second consult with one of the nurses and she was so kind and generous. I would recommend Dr. Fiala to anyone!!
