Dr. Alice Shen has provided quality orthodontic care to the residents of Arcadia and surrounding communities for over 20 years. She has had the great pleasure of changing lives by creating beautiful smiles. With each new smile, she has affected the world and helped to make it a better place. She has a deep connection to the community she serves, and is dedicated to making every patient's orthodontic treatment a positive experience.

Education
Dr. Shen received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, and her orthodontic specialty training from Ohio State University with a Master of Science degree.

Dr. Shen has been on the faculty of the USC School of Dentistry for over 20 years. She loves working with the residents and teaching them to be the best they can be. Teaching is her passion and helps her to be on the cutting-edge of advances in orthodontic treatment.

Very dissatisfied with the service. Doctor would not call me back. Staff is very unfriendly. It is a shame because healthcare is a service where kindness goes a long way. Our experience was truly horrible. I regret not having done better research upfront.

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions.
This Dr has a selling run on her answering machine. But she is the most RUDE Dr. I have ever come across. She doesnt like to be challenged in her work. SHe is OLD school and is not up to date on all the newest in ORTHO. Even though she claims she is a teacher or and on staff she is clueless in bedside manner. IF you ask questions you will see her make faces at her staff who really are the only thing going for her except the front desk who rarely smiles. The Dr acts like you are a problem to her rather then her bread and butter.
I checked with three others around all were more progressive and cheaper in time our children's braces would be on and cheaper. I have heard many complaints from our friends who all go to the same school and didn't care for her attitude.
Do yourself a favor and check out others she will not like the questions you ask and my teens were not going to ask them so I was going to and she put me off on time to many that my husband refused to go to her. I agree as do both my kids.
