About
Sheryl Lipnick, DO
Dr. Sheryl Lipnick, D.O. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. She practices general orthopedics and specializes in sports medicine injuries. She cares for patients of all ages. Whether you're a weekend warrior, a high school or a college athlete, and got injured, you need to see an orthopedic physician with the highest level of training and experience in sports medicine.
Dr. Lipnick knows that when you come to her, you are in pain. That is why she and her staff are dedicated to making your visit as comfortable as possible. With most orthopedic conditions, there is often more than one form of treatment. Dr. Lipnick spends time with her patients discussing all the possible options to find the most effective treatment plan. Dr. Lipnick's treatment plans focused on your needs and goals.
If surgery is part of your treatment plan, Dr. Lipnick specializes in arthroscopic surgery, which is a minimally invasive procedure with a short recovery time guaranteeing you the fastest return to your normal lifestyle under normal circumstances.
Once the injury begins to heal, Dr. Lipnick and the nursing staff become your recovery team, guiding you to wellness through therapy and daily activities. Under Dr. Lipnick's treatment plan, the individual can return to their normal activity as quickly as possible.
Dr. Lipnick's trained in the treatment and care of sports-related injuries and conditions, such as torn ligaments (ACL and MCL), torn cartilage (meniscus), joint instability, muscle weakness, ankle sprains, and fractures. Her experience also includes athlete's overuse injuries and conditions caused by repeated and excessive stress. Tendonitis and stress fractures fall into this category. Dr. Lipnick deals with both surgical and non-surgical treatments of sports medicine conditions. She has a keen interest in trauma and sports injuries.
Dr. Lipnick's goal is the same as yours, to get you "back in the game" as soon as possible and back to what you love doing. She encourages patients to live a healthy and active lifestyle and is looking forward to treating all of your orthopedic needs.

I was surprised by how the orthopedic explained how the pain pills were aggravating the situation. I was really pleased with my Dr.. Believe it or not, off the painkillers and using the cream for what pain there was really worked along with the tens unit.
