Dr. Helen Hu originally from Beijing China, has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since the age of 12. A Cardiologist and practitioner of integrated Medicine for Nine years before immigrating to the United States, Dr. Hu passed the "United States Licensing Medical Exam" (USLME) in 1997 while simultaneously obtaining her Oriental Medical Degree (OMD) in the US.

Dr. Hu currently directs and manages a successful TCM practice in San Diego. She lectures locally on Acupuncture and the benefits of combining Eastern / Western styles of Medicine

NOTE:
Dr. Hu has been practicing Tai Ji and Qi Gong over 25 years. Dr. Hu teaches these ancient Chinese arts Saturday mornings on Shelter Island in San Diego as a gift to the community and to help promote well being and longevity. All are welcome!

I went to Dr. Helen Hu when I had shingles and she gave me a salve that immediately gave me relief and healed my shingles with no pain or scarring in less than a week. Also after having a severe cough and chest cold that no antibiotic or western doctor could help for three weeks; finally, I went for acupuncture and special chinese medicine that cleared me up within days. Dr. Hu is my go to MD when all else fails.

They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. The table I laid on during my treatment felt really nice. I was so comfortable. They have really great customer service here. They always put their clients first, regardless of the situation. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice.
