About Me
What defines a truly gifted psychotherapist is the ability to attach with a patient so that there is a link that is palpable. Therapy is the "healthiest and safest" relationships you should have in your life. I invite patients who feel like they have had treatment failures or couples who believe they are in a hopeless situation to call. Lives can change, transformation is possible.
I am a psychotherapist who believes in experience, training and nurturance. These attributes are not easy to communicate in words since great therapy, like any other peak human experience is diminished by words.
I hold two Masters Degrees, one post graduate Fellowship and have managed more than 10 community mental health programs and/or hospital units. I was trained at the Rolfing Institute of San Francisco under Dub Leigh creator of of a combination of Rolfing and Buddhist Medicine.
I have accrued more than 12,000 group psychotherapy hours and over 300,000 individual psychotherapy hours. My patients include: attorneys, physicians, scientists, actors and individuals of all ages. I also provide "pro bonno" service to the indigent and those who are without insurance.
I have conducted workshops at Esalen Institute, taught at several prominent graduate schools and am regularly consulted by local non-profits and private corporations to provide psychotherapy for their employees and/or executives.
I believe that the work I co-create with clients is unique, time effective and produces measurable improvement in the quality of their lives.
This again promotes collaboration with a treatment team providing a unique continuum of care and maximum convenience.
