i've attended a few of the beginning yoga classes and i couldn't ask for a better experience. ellen chooses poses that are fun and really make you focus on your body, without being too difficult or stressful. i never feel dumb if i can't do a pose right, which is comforting for someone just starting to do yoga. ellen is so helpful and clearly very knowledgeable about her craft. i always leave 10x more relaxed than when i arrived.

Yoga was a really hard practice for me to get into. It has been a very personal endeavor
for me. It took me a while to find a teacher that I felt comfortable with, and Ellen is that teacher. In her classes I always feel welcome. She makes the the student, the individual the priority of her teaching while still maintaining the individuality of the class as a whole. Your inpout is valid and an integral part of her teaching. She makes sure that her students understand the importance of listening to the body and thus, developing a respect for the body--which I feel as a dancer, is absent in many physical practices, and even harder to find a teacher that truly honors that. I feel comfortable exploring and trying out new things knowing that I have a mentor in yoga to help me along my journey. Thank you, Ellen.
