This practice is drilling sound intact teeth and are unfortunately ripping off people money and health. Before going into details of my review, I would like to state that I am a dentist who is not licensed to practice in US, but I have practiced overseas from 1995 to 2006. I have four kids that all go to this practice for dental needs. In July/18 my middle son had an appointment which was the first of three to perform 6 fillings. A day before I have heard from their mom that my other son (the youngest one) has done 8 fillings with them during the few weeks before July/18. That raised my level of skepticism like a total of 14 fillings within short time for kids who do regular cleaning, brushing, and flossing. So, using a mirror and a probe at home I checked the mouth of my middle son, and I didn’t see any caries. So, I decided to go with him during his appointment, and I asked to see the x-rays. The dentist who was clearly stumbling on her responses pulled the x-rays and there was not a single tooth who is clearly indicated for drilling/filling (maybe we can argue there is one), It was clear to me that at least 5 teeth (if not all six) were totally sound teeth without any decay. The dentist kept trying to show me something that wasn’t existed saying stuff like: (it is very small triangle; do you see it?).
Before I realized that they have such a deep malpractice, I totally trusted them on my other son (born in 2005), whom they have performed 8 fillings during the couple of months before that. Now, I have access to his x-rays, I am certain that at least 5-6 of these fillings were done on sound teeth. I felt it is weird to have 8 cavities develop that quickly as he was just seen by them within a year or so when we did the regular cleaning. However, I didn’t question it and I thought that he simply didn’t take care of his oral hygiene (brushing and flossing), but now I know he was butchered. What is even more bizarre than all the above is that when I requested the X-rays of my youngest before they did the fillings on them, they sent them to me by mail, small copies not very clear but you can still see that at least 6 of the 8 teeth they drilled were completely intact. The fact that they have zero fear to send x-rays that clearly shows the teeth were intact and they have already drilled them speaks volume about their comfort level with such a malpractice. They are certain that in America you can do nothing to them. I called couple of lawyers they said healthcare developed good techniques the last few years that made it hard to sue them, and that my best bet is to submit a review, they don’t work on issues other than death due to malpractice, anything less than that is not worth it and results are not guaranteed.
I must say that the worst of dentists where I come from would try to over-price things, or cheat on the type of the crown (or bridge) by charging money for an expensive type and provide a cheaper option to patients, I have seen those type of cheating, but never in my 11 years of practice, I have come across a scenario of drilling a sound tooth. That is butchery, unethical, causing unnecessary harm to patients and malpractice. What can you say? Please stay away from them they are clearly bad people. I do remember that when I called the dentist out during that visit of July 18, everybody come out ready to fight, that alone a clear indicator that they all know what is going on and are ready to defend each other when necessary, otherwise if a patient accuse me of malpractice in my own office when I was practicing my staff will stay quiet not knowing what to say, they will be taking by the surprise, the fact that they were all on the same wavelength too quickly clearly shows that they all know they are scamming people and they are fine with it. What a shame!
