I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are and how great the training is for the children. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. We had two children one 7 year old and one 12 year old go through their training. WONDERFUL!

I would NOT recommend this Martial Arts school for children. The atmosphere is very negative and punitive. They often yell at and belittle their students during classes in the guise of instilling discipline or motivation. It more resembles some twisted form of boot camp. They are knowledgeable but their treatment of students and parents is unprofessional and outrageous. There is very little kindness, compassion or respect shown to the students or parents. They regularly treat their students, along with their parents, with complete disdain. Parents are treated, by these instructors, as if they don't know the slightest thing about how to raise their own child. The simpilist of questions or slightest request can be met with a verbally abusive tirade. When they go off like this it is very scary for whoever is on the receiving end. The insane part about it is that they expect people to put up with this behavior and continue to attend their school. They have lost and continue to lose many students because of their outrageous behavior issues. We experienced their rage first hand and during a verbally abusive tirade were asked to leave. While this school may have been well respected at one time, this is no longer the case and more often than not their negative reputation preceeds them in the DFW area. Although they are members of the World TaeKwonDo Federation (WTF) they do not promote or participate in WTF events and do not allow their students to compete in any competitions. If a child is injured they show little to no empathy and expect the child to just get over it and continue on. Upon initial inspection you will find that this school looks very good. Their student creed, and their materials speak to not only the sport but the art and philosophy of TaeKwonDo.While they give much lip service to the principles they do not actually practice them , themselves. You will also find that their attitudes change as soon as the ink is dry on your contract and your child begins classes. There are many excellent martial arts studios/schools in the area who are members of the World TaeKwonDo Federation (WTF), have qualified high level black belt instructors who provide rank advancement certified by the Kukkiwon, who have had earned many prestigious awards in their Tae Kwon Do careers, yet still treat their students well. I would recommend you look into one of these other schools for you child and steer clear of CrossTraining Martial Arts in Flower Mound, TX. I seriously hope I save someone out there from going through what we did.

CrossTraining Martial Arts is NOT a member of the Better Business Bureau and they currently have an F rating.

You may see reviews from Hapkido students relating a very different experience, which is the case, many of those students seem very happy.
