Fax Machine Fun #1

It has been a while since my last post.  Sorry everyone, but I went into a shameful hiding after the Chargers lost and the weather here in Southern California turned quite sour.  That’s what I get for blasting the Jets and talking up our beautiful San Diego weather in my last post.

Anyway, I’m on to bigger and better things these days…office shenanigans with the fax machine.  I know, it sounds kind of juvenile.  But just follow me here; I think you’ll find it quite amusing.

So yesterday, a co-worker of mine had an idea to spread an intra-office fax trying to get people to participate in a contest to win a free 5 day Mexican cruise. We thought we may get a few laughs around the office, but we didn’t actually think someone would fax us back and attempt to participate; especially since we sent the fax from one of the office fax numbers. Needless to say, we got someone.

Nothing crazy has happened yet, but we did get one of the ladies in HR to respond back and provide her contact information (just the first step in entering the contest for the “trip”). I can’t believe she didn’t figure out that the fax was sent from within the office!  Now we have to come up with more things for her to do in order to win the trip.
