Dark, dreary skies, cold temperatures, holiday stress - as the buzz beings to wind down and colder weather settles in, we sometimes find ourselves in a bit of a lull. We instinctively crave warmth, enveloping ourselves in thick winter sweaters and cozy socks, while enthusiastically wrapping our fingers around steaming mugs of our favorite teas, coffees and soups. Every ounce of our being seems to desire warmth and comfort. Sometimes our bodies need more than a simple wrapping of soft fleece and a warm cup of something tasty, for some of us the extended darkness and cold temperatures experienced in the months ahead result in mood alterations, sluggishness, aches and pains, and more.
