Pelvic Floor Muscle

The "under" discussed muscle that can weaken with age and through bearing children. I refer to it as the female "personal gymnasium". This muscle is used to stop the flow of urine. It is crucial to keep the muscle fibers strong to support the organs within the pelvic cavity that can distend through. Keeping the kegel contraction at around 25-30% always will help with current issues and help to prevent any possible weaknesses in the muscle. It is just like the biceps, triceps, glutes and abdominals, use it or lose it!
