Sweet and Spicy Fall Treats

Pumpkin Spice Chai

1 1/2 cup almond milk
1-2 cups water
¼ cup pumpkin puree
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional) 
2 cinnamon sticks
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cardamom
1/4 cup organic black tea leaves 
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper 
Stevia (optional) 

Boil almond milk, water, pumpkin puree, black tea and vanilla extract. Add in cinnamon sticks nutmeg, cardamom and ground pepper. Stir for 2-3 minutes. Strain spices and pour in your favorite mug. For extra sweetness add a few drops of stevia and serve.
