Shannon is the founder/coach of Fit & Well Associates, LLC and is located in Frederick, MD. Currently developing 08 Kettlebell & Fitness Club, The 08FitCoach, and 08 Fitness Systems.
Shannon’s core expertise includes kettlebell training, functional fitness, and dietary supplementation. Credentials include certified personal trainer and certified kettlebell teacher. Prefers working with athletes and post rehab scenarios. Also considers healthy food and dietary supplementation as part of overall fitness regimen.
Shannon is affiliated with American College of Sports Medicine, National Academy of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, International Youth Conditioning Association, and the International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation. He is also a member of the Amercian Red Cross and a former Big Brother of the Big Brother Big Sister Program of Frederick County. Due to his own childhood illnesses, Shannon has been an avid fundraiser for the March of Dimes for the past 8 years to help in their efforts to save babies.
Shannon’s undergraduate studies were in finance and marketing at Hampton University. He has held series 7 securities license, series 66 advisory license, and life and health insurance licenses while in the finance industry.
