M Parvin MD

M Parvin MD
Dr. Parvin believes in being up to date with current knowledge. His practice is cutting edge with regard to safety issues e.g. laboratory tests and clinical rating scales. He is not a believer in pills solving all problems.
He believes that most human beings can benefit from exploring treatment possibilities in the Biological, Psychological, Social and when appropriate Spiritual centers of the healing process. Biological treatments can consist in exploring the possibility of organic causes for illness e.g. seizure disorder, anemia, electrolyte abnormalities etc. and biological treatments e.g. medications. The psychological treatments focus on psychotherapy e.g. Individual or group therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Play Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis etc. Social treatments can include testing, government assistance, school support etc. Spiritual treatments would be centered on encouraging the patient’s own higher power beliefs which have been shown in research articles to help in the healing process e.g. AA the number one treatment for alcohol dependence. He does not emphasize any particular faith to his patients and Dr. Parvin is respectful of religious backgrounds and cultures.

Dr. Parvin believes he works for his patients and tells them this is the fact! There are some things he can not do due to his medical, ethical and moral principles. However, there sure is a whole lot he can do for you. Call him to see what he can do for you and your loved ones.
