When I was growing up (and I'm in my late 20's) there was nothing wrong with spanking your kids. Didn't matter if you were at home, in public, or even at school. If you were being a brat you were going to be spanked. Even in grade school our principle would spank the bad kids. Also any family friend or relative would spank you if you were out of line. I see so many horrible kids now, you know the kids...
