I am 80 and after 3 months on 4 different Catheters and unable to urinate on my own, and checking in to E.R. with 103 fever, I finally chose to have the TURP Prostate procedure. Dr. Whisnant explained what I could expect, and the success exceeded my expectations. I am very pleased with my results 3 weeks post surgery. All bleeding ceased on the 12th day, as well as any burning and pain, and I now urinate like a Race horse!

Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them

It seemed like they were trying to rush my appointment and were annoyed to be helping me. It was obvious that they wanted to be somewhere else. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through.

I am currently a student in Roanoke and so the office was relatively close to the school and easy to locate with directions. I did not have a good experience. The office is old and out of date (computers from the 1980s) and the collection cups for urine aren't even sterile. Dr. Whisnant listened to my history but I was very uncomfortable with the physical exam. He did nothing to put me at ease. I was also very disappointed with the advice he offered to me. It was given in a condescending tone, and while he allowed me to ask questions he didn't really answer any of them. I got the sense that he wanted to just write me a prescription and be done with the visit. I won't be going back to that office and I don't recommend this doctor.
