Dr. Sherer, is a real nice person and soft spoken and explains medical terms understandable to me. nobody likes to be called fat or obese but he's right and I am wrong but doctor I like food and trying to loose weight is a real bummer and I am a mean son-of bitch that dislikes skinny doctors. so next visit I will bring you some greasy southern fried chicken gravy & mashed potatoes and biscuits to eat and maybe a game of golf after the small portion meal.

The receptionist and Dr. Sherer HATED being at work, and they couldn't wait for me to leave. They behaved with indifference and irritation with everyone who came in. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. I have told any and everybody who'll listen to steer clear of this office!!! If I had know how terrible they were, I never would have gone. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. I almost landed in the ER because of this wonderful piece of work of a doctor. I've had shingles for 2 months now and he prescribed me an acne pill, Doxycycline, that replicates the symptoms of shingles times 4 or 5 and, unlike shingles, these symptoms (e.g. the blinding migraines, the unbearable ear pressure and pain, the being a hair away from vomiting constantly, etc.) can be fatal and lead to brain damage and/or brain tumors. He also never asked me what I'm allergic to and prescribed an antihistamine that I'm allergic to and didn't tell me he was prescribing me this. His patient forms are only one page. I don't even think they had a back to them and do not have a specific area to state what medications you're allergic to. Thank God I didn't take the antihistamine. With how sick I already was for a week, I can't imagine how worse off I would've been! It's quite a terrifying thought!!! If I were rich, I'd sue him for malpractice and wouldn't be surprised if he almost always or always puts people at risk or has done even worse. He should not be allowed to practice. He's dangerous and should have his license taken away ASAP.

If anyone needed a hematologist, I would have no problem recommending this doctor. I was very happy with the care I received. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.
