Without Dr. Jimenez I'd be dead. I wouldn't be here today. I was suicidal and close to ending it all. My family is grateful for her ethical and knowledgable care.

Dr. Jimenez is a great doctor who really knows her meds. She was able to not only diagnose a psychiatric illness but a physical illness and advised me to see my general practitioner. My GP told me he was very impressed she picked up on the symptoms of another problem that was not psychiatric. She is just a great DOCTOR period. Her early diagnosis saved my life. She is a life saver.

I travel almost an hour to see Dr. Jimenez because of her amazing care of my challenged child. She has been so effective. She came highly recommended and that's why we first went to her. But we continues going to her because she is so knowledgeable and really listens and responds to our family's issues. Thank you.

This doctor is pompous, disrespectful, arrogant and extremely inflexible. I cannot emphasize how terrible my experience was with her enough!! Disagreeable and unprofessional she is very rude without ANY bedside manner. Apparently she has trained with Georgetown and Hopkins but her actual medical school is some random place where it seems like they didn't teach the basics of patient interaction. Dr. Jimenez is emotionally exploitative with her patients, people who need understanding and intuitive care. She is extremely judgmental of alternative lifestyles and refuses to recognize the experience of her patients as sincere and demoralizingly diminishes things as "phases" or "confusion". You get the feeling as you talk to her that she condemns others smugly, hardships and suffering are deserved due to one thing or another she arbitrarily identifies as the cause based on her personal prejudices not on science or fact. Also showcasing her lack of professionalism is her wait time is usually an hour and can even be longer! Her time is the only time that matters. She is agressive about this and really seems to think the world revolves around her and is not concerned with helping or treating the way a doctor should be but being worshipped and adored. It also seems like she only hears what she wants to hear and that's when she happens to actually be listening. She has a short attention span and can't focus or remember details mentioned repeatedly in previous appointments or things stated just a couple minutes prior. You get the feeling while in an appointment with her that she loves the sound of her own voice and once you meet her, her extreme vanity is quite obvious. With so many obvious pathologies Dr. Jimenez is the typical psychiatric joke, a shrink that's crazier than her patients. It goes beyond saying her treatments and prescription plans are poor, inept and ineffective. She's a spokesperson for several drug companies and her recommendations play to these alliances rather than to what a patient should actually be prescribed. DO NOT go to this doctor unless for some reason you want to pay to be ridiculed and devalued by someone whose clearly in the business of healthcare just for the money. She is a fraud, do NOT go to this "doctor".

I've been to a lot of psychiatrist but none other as experienced, thoughtful, and compassionate as Dr. Jimenez. I went to her after hearing she was one of the best doctors in Montgomery County and couldn't agree more. She really knows her meds and therapeutic strategies. Nice office, easy to book appointments, I always do after my session.

I really liked they took the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits clearly. They made sure that I understood everything before I started treatment. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important.

They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. They made sure every question I had was answered thoroughly, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here.

They always go out of their way to make me feel encouraged and cared for. I always feel completely comfortable and I look forward to my appointments. They are one of the most attentive psychiatrists I've ever met. They always remember me and my situation at every appointment, and make an extra effort to make me feel important and respected. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. BTW, my wife and daughter also see her and have been satisfied for a number of years now.

My parents first brought me to Dr. Jimenez because of my anxiety when I was in middle school. I had been wary of MDs for a number of reasons but from the beginning immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Jimenez. Her manner is very warm and she would always speak to me directly, not around me, which is something I experienced elsewhere. I am genuinely surprised to see negative reviews on this website - I have never experienced her being rude or demeaning to me. I have always found her very supportive and willing to help. I think, like any MD, for her help to work, you need to listen to it.

I have been seeing her for nearly a decade now and have been very grateful for the input she's had in my life. She is big on holistic treatments so not only did she put me on medication but she also gave me recommendations for sleep habits, exercise habits, and even what kind of foods I should eat. I have also been impressed by her thorough medical knowledge - I suppose I always expected a psychiatrist to have a very in-depth knowledge of mental health and a shallow understanding/memory for everything else they learned in med school but i Have been consistently impressed by how quickly Dr. Jimenez has picked up on my various medical ailments over the years.

Most importantly though I think she also really listens to you. Admittedly waits for her appointments are really long, but that's because she really takes time with each patient, and will go over your allotted time if that's what your problems entail (plus there's TV and wi-fi in the reception room). The receptionist can be rude but once you get to know him you can start joking around with him, too.

I now live further away from Montgomery County but still make the effort to go out and see her. I can't recommend her enough, especially for young kids that might be intimidated by going to a MD (Like I once was!).
