Had a good experience for several years with this MD.
He is very knowledgeable and will tell you all about treatment options. He will also let you try the most conservative options first and then move to the other types of options.
He does NOT try to push you into medicines that you don't feel right about. He does NOT try to push you into medical studies on a certain medication.
Because I'm a computer person, I have to move around from job to job, so eventually I had to leave Richmond and find other rheumatologists in other towns. I have had about 5 different rheumatologists total since I came down with arthritis 10 years ago. This guy was the best of all of them. He's not cheap but he's worth it.
