Dr Vilkin takes all the time you need to go over your needed problems and the options that are available for a needed surgery.
I was a problem patient with scar tissue due to my appendix rupturing years ago. A doctor from Beaumont Hospital wanted to open my abdomen and stated my surgery couldn't be done laparoscopically.
Dr Vilkins had no problem with doing my surgery laparoscopically. She made 4 openings and after 6 weeks you can barely see the scars and I'm feeling great.
On the day of my surgery when I arrived at the hospital everyone was very friendly and professional. My son was kept updated all throughout my surgery and informed of the outcome by Dr Vilkins.
Dr Vilkins is an excellent doctor, and I would recommend her to everyone.
