She needs to get professional help for herself before she can help anyone else. You never know what will set her off. She is so unprofessional. She even had her dogs in the session. Best advice is to leave the practice and find a therapist you can build a trusting therapeutic relationship with.
I had very inconsistent interactions with Wendy. Mostly as a result of her mood swings. You just never knew what to expect. I learned mote about Wendy than myself. She does have a deep concern for her clients but this also overwhelms her emotionally. She also likes to do Google searches during the session which I found unhelpful and very distracting. I do not think I could recommend her to anyone who wants to get better.
In the beginning it was great and then she started going through her own life problems with her family which really sent her into a depression. I'd show up & she wouldn't have even have opened the office. Or she'd be there and during my appt. we'd talk about her issues, not mine. Once she even canceled the rest of her day and went home after. I felt for her. She was gone for 2 weeks. Came back, acted like nothing ever happened. She became short w/me. She blames me because she was unprofessional. I'll never recommend Wendy!
