I have dealt with several therapists at Holistic Health mostly because they cannot seem to keep decent therapist. The office administrator is friendly. After 2 major losses I sent my 16 year old who is a very good young adult back with a new therapist and in approximately the 6 months she was under her "care" she became more anxious and started making poor decisions and lashing out. This was not an issue before enrolling her back in under this new provider. Without exposing my daughters personal information I'll just say she was obviously told to stand up to her parents. I met with this therapist after being made aware she was an obligated reporter and filing a claim with DCF for "truancy" which is no longer a law here. Schools fill out a form. I was already working with school. Therapist retracted the threat later on. I emailed the therapist with my concerns and requested non private summary or whatever she was legally able to provide so I know how to specifically support my child. I was told I could only receive dates of sessions. State law. Called office with these concerns and more. I clearly stated my childs mental health declined under care and wanted to discuss the matter with management since I already tried with the therapist. I received a call back from the administrative assistant, not office manager or anyone else stating nothing else they can offer. I'm not blaming them for CT laws however a manager could have, actually SHOULD have contacted me to discuss my concerns as a parent. Only giving 2 stars because they have had a few good therapists in the past. I feel my child did not receive healthy positive goal focused therapy. They wouldn't even provide me with her goals or any possible diagnosis. I'm not one to complain but both myself and my husband are not happy with the decline since seeing this therapist. I would not be writing this review if a manager took the time to discuss my concerns. In my opinion they do not care unless you owe payment.
