Some of the communication right after my procedure was slow and incomplete from the staff. I suspect probably because Dr. K. Was on vacation. Since that time, communication has been thorough and timely.

Dr. Kalmowitz is a caring and conscientious doctor who makes patients feel heard and respected. His assistant Nicole is also friendly and informative, she addresses concerns well and communicates them with Dr. Kalmowitz in a way that his patients do not feel like there is any confusion. If there was an area for improvement, I would say calling for information and setting up appointments can be frustrating and difficult. I tested abnormal for an exam and it took four months (at my follow up - where I could talk to Nicole and Dr. Kalmowitz directly) to get an answer on what was going on, it wasn't until then that I felt confident that the next steps for treatment were being handled. I would often get sent to voice mails and had to be persistent in calling the office back. One time, when I was explaining what I was told I needed, they hung up on me abruptly. However, any communication with Dr. Kalmowtiz and Nicole directly makes me feel cared for and optimistic about treatment.
