Bent over. What the heck was that? OMG, I can't stand up....tick tock, hours later...I'm in TEARS! Now I can hardly walk! I start making phone calls as a holiday weekend was looming and I knew I would not survive the weekend without some help! Life Chiropractic was fairly new in town, but they were the only ones that answered their phone and agreed to get me in that day (within 2 hours, mind you). It was a painful road to recovery, but Dr. Bret and his team were there every step of the way, getting me straightened out and properly aligned!
That was over 2 years ago and I am still a faithful addict to Life Chiropractic! I wouldn't want it any other way!! I don't have time nor patience for surgery. I don't like taking drugs. This is the 100% best solution for me and I'm forever grateful that I found them!

Love this place can't give them enough credit, I recommended so many people! They have definitely changed my life it's only been 3 months and I can tell a difference! When I first came in I was diagnosed with stage 2 degenerative disc disease! Let me tell you it was all the way in my nerves and horrible headaches! I could barely bend or turn my neck. My headaches have improve so much with three months treatment!! My nerves are still bugging me but I'm actually able to move around more! The team here is very amazing and they try everything and listen! I highly recommend them give them a shot you don't regret it.

I have had back problems since high school that have caused a great deal of back pain. Dr. Zubeck and Dr. Barnes were able to show me the issues causing the pain, and they not only relieved the pain, but they corrected the issues I have had for so long. Visits are always enjoyable. The staff is friendly, and professional, the facility is clean, and the adjustments are gentle and quick. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

In 1993 I had a very bad car accident that damaged my neck and lower back. I have been going to chiro practitioners ever since, to find relief. Upon moving to Houghton Lake a year ago, I sought out Life Chiropractic and Wellness Center to speak to them about my issues. Before coming to their office I had not seen a chiropractor for about a year. Then I slipped on the ice landing on my head. My family physician prescribed ibuprofen for me and to soak in hot tubs for heat therapy. I was shocked after Dr. Barnes showed and explained to me my x rays. I was now diagnosed with stage three Degenerative Disc Disease. Upon finding out this information, I realized the last chiropractor that I saw in another state did not do x rays, only manipulations therefore I had no knowledge that I had this problem. The heat therapy would have done more damage and locked my neck in place. If it had not been for the Dr. Barnes, Dr. Zubeck and Life Chiropractor and Wellness Center I would be heading straight into not being able to pull my face up and look people in the eyes. They have made me realize that there is a serious problem and are helping me to correct it. I always feel better going there, even when I foolishly hurt my body between appointments. Maintenance is absolutely necessary no matter how often you have to go to keep moving. I am eternally grateful for them helping me regain my health. I love the staff they are patient and genuinely care about how you feel. They are not just another chiropractic place and have helped me, not do more damage to my body, by educating me. I highly recommend Life Chiropractic and Wellness Center.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to Life Chiropractic & Wellness Center. I've always brushed off my back and neck pain as if it was going to go away or it was no big deal, and honestly if it wasn't for my Daughter relentlessly asking for us to go I probably wouldn't have gave it much thought. I did brush it off to the point where I have some damage and degeneration in my neck which has been going on for years and it may have been something they could have slowed the progression more significantly if I had seen them sooner but I can say that since going there I have notice less aches and pains in both my neck and back as well as just how I feel overall it's amazing! I look forward to my appointments with Dr. Barnes and Dr. Zubeck. Their staff are wonderful! Appointments are quick and easy and they work well with scheduling around your needs.
