Dr. Achor has been our family podiatrist for several years. She treated my Mother in her final years and now treats both my husband and I. I would not go to anyone else. She listens carefully and always finds the best solution for our situation. In an emergency, I always know she is there for me. We have been 100% satisfied with her professionalism and broad knowledge base. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Their equipment was old; it was still in usable condition but I would have appreciated equipment that was at least current. The waiting room chairs were average. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but definitely not the best. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me. I gave them secondary insurance info, but they demanded the money the secondary would pay. When I billed the secondary insurance, they sent Dr. Achor the check. Dr. Achor REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME! After many attempts to collect the money and contacting the insurance company (they said she was contracted with them and that's why they sent her the check, I'd have to take it up with her), I tried to talk to her. She refused to talk to me about it and said her partner was now doing the finances and walked out. This was shocking and very unprofessional conduct. Based on my experience with this podiatrist, I wouldn't recommend them to my friends or family or someone with secondary insurance!
