The staff was AWESOME!! The managet was a gem!! I love her, all the staff was very nice i felt very comfortable. The Dr was also GREAT!! Something should be done about the protesters! The cops won't do anything. Other than that this facility is the BEST!! Thank you guys for being so caring!!
These people are highly underestimated. I was instantly separated from my partner after signing in. My appointment was 7:30am and I got there on time. There were plenty of other people. The first waiting room consisted of the chaperons for the girls (mostly their partners and some parents). The women here were fast and efficient at getting everyone through. I was sent in a different room filled with other female patients and told to fill out medical history paperwork etc. After i brought it to the front desk, I returned to the waiting room filled with women until my name was called. After my name was called they took my height, weight and blood pressure. I chose the option of seeing the ultrasound so that's what came next. I was 6 weeks and 5 days so they rounded up to 7 weeks. After that i went to a second waiting room. Eventually i was called and they briefly talked about after care for the abortion and a checkup in 2 weeks. Check-ups are $30. You can choose to check up with them or a personal physician. My abortion was $375 because I'm a student. I heard from other girls that they do not take Medicade here anymore, but feel free to try anyway. After this they gave me two pills to swallow because i did the surgical. I HIGHLY recommend the surgical procedure. Many women who've had multiple abortions also highly agreed to surgical. It sounds scary but its absolutely not. I am 5'4 about 160 pounds and the drugs took affect in 1 minute. You start to get super drowsy. I must admit that the drug kicks in faster depending on your weight & height. So for me it was at a decent time. I met with my doctor inside the room and was told to strip my pants and lay on the patient bed. My doctor was great and wasted no time. he inserted the clamp inside and it really did last about 5-8 minutes. The procedure itself literally felt like a slight cramp to me. After it was over the nurse gave me a period pad and i was super woosy. I put my pants back on very lethargically. After i was walking through the walls holding onto anything. The nurse saw me and told me to take a seat. I feel asleep briefly and then she assisted me to the first waiting room where my partner (your guardian/driver) is waiting. Then i went home. The whole experience was fast and nice. The women are here to do their jobs and they do them very well. The only thing is they schedule everyone at the same time (7:30am) so everyone was basically there, but i guess it's to get through the process quickly. One last thing is they do have protesters outside. On the day i went it was about 5 white men and 1 white female all with picket signs. IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THEM KEEP DRIVING THROUGH THE DRIVEWAY TO THE BACK. there's a parking section back there and they can let you in through the back. Don't let them intimidate you. You made this decision because you felt it was the best for your life. They have no right to judge you or persuade you any different. Be there for your partner if you're the strong one throughout the whole thing, because even the men (and other guardians) were taken aback by the protesters presence. They don't come up to you, they call you over so just keep doing your thing. The staff doesn't make you feel any different about your decisions so know that you're in a safe place. Hope this review helps some people. This is one of the cheapest places around so i really recommend this place. Also its a little closer to the street than google images gives off so don't drive past it.
