All this office has been is nothing but problems since the start. Dr snook is my doctor, it's my first baby, and has bee...n the most unpleasurable experience; I wouldn't even wish it upon my worst enemy.

I needed a work restriction form filled out for work and the medical assistant didn't even read the single page, instead, she asked me which information to fill in and did it incorrectly at that. Due to the form being wrongfully completed, I needed the paper revised (my position requires constant standing) but the staff refused to revise it to be more specific because I'm not having a complicated pregnancy. Still to this day, 9 months along, no chair thanks to this wonderful staff of "professionals".

I was told by Dr. Snook and the previous office manager, that the only paperwork you have to pay for is the FMLA ($25) but any paper I have ever needed filled out, even one single page, they attempt charging you $25. My husband was also present and heard the same statement from both of them. My FMLA was declined due to not having worked enough required hours, therefor, I needed a single page medical leave form completed including the following information, 1), the estimated start date of the medical leave until the estimated return date, 2), the reason for the medical leave, and 3), a signature. For this form, the receptionist told me that they would be charging me another $25.

I asked to speak with the office manager, and when I asked to speak with the office manager I was told that an office manager was not on duty today.

Momentarily after, a woman I have never seen before comes out and announces that she is the office manager. I explained the situation to her, and she still insists that I have to pay for the form to be completed. I replied to her, stating that Dr. Snook told my husband and I that we did not have to pay for a form to be filled out unless it was the FMLA. At this point, I requested to speak with Dr. Snook but was advised that she was busy.

Shortly after, Dr. Snook proceeds my way and says something along the lines of "I'm not even going to get into it with you and argue, you have been nothing but problems with the entire office staff" (the money certainly is NOT the issue, it's the principle of being told one thing and then it being turned around on you). She rubbed my back and proceeded to tell me that the staff has hundreds of these forms to do. Once I stated that I had paid for the FMLA before, she actually had the nerve to tell me that no, I did not ever pay for the FMLA paperwork (I certainly did and she was aware of it) and I then stated to her I will be switching to a different OB-GYN and she responded by saying "this is ridiculous" and stormed off (all of this was taking place in front of patients and the staff just to note -very unprofessional).

I asked for my medical records so that I can switch physicians, and I was told that it will take ten business days. I explained that I am due in less time then that, and asked if I could pick up a hard copy and pay a fee or if it could be expedited due to me being so close to delivery. I was told in response that these are not options and that I have to wait the ten days, no exceptions.

Regardless, if the staff does not like me, the bottom line should ultimately be keeping the best interest of the unborn child in mind. I was also charged for an ultrasound once but for the second ultrasound I was not charged (supposedly, the deductible I paid covers ultrasounds but I was never reimbursed).

A pregnancy is supposed to be a happy time in your life, not a miserable one.

Rude office staff, from the front desk, to the medical assistant, and to the doctor. What to expect on your office visits; you check in, urinate in a cup, have your vitals taken, get shoved into a room (half of an hour on average) until your Dr. comes in, listens to the baby's heartbeat, measures you, and then tells you to schedule your next appointment. I have never been spoken to about prenatal vitamins, current medications I'm currently taking, birthing classes, breastfeeding Vs. formula, normalities/abnormalities during pregnancy, cord banking, pediatrician, nothing what-so-ever! It's a good thing that google exists. One would assume that for the deductible, they would at least speak with you about these things, especially being a first time mother.

To be in the medical field, you should actually be looking out for the best interest of the patient! For me to be walking away from care at 39 weeks pregnant is obviously very serious! I have been mistreated from the start. The staff seems very nice getting you in the door but once your an established patient you begin to see the true colors. Very fake group of people to say the least.

If you look on their website, it states that if you call the facility on the weekend or after hours, this company actually charges you if they don't feel your call was an emergency. Who would actually want do business with a place like this? Do yourself a favor ladies and do a little research like I should have and find yourselves a descent facility and a doctor who cares :).
