I have been suffering for almost 12 years. I was dx'd with Transverse Myelitis in Dec of 2002. It't not that my other doctors didn't want or try to help me, it's that TM is so rare and they don't know much about it. For the first time in all these years, I finally feel like I'm not invisible. It becomes very emotional for me because it is literally like I am coming back to life! I have spent most of my 30's and half of my 40's just existing, but Dr. Greenspan is giving me hope again. I know I may never be completely pain free but to finally have less pain and to have slept through the night 2 times is amazing to me. I know I still have a long journey ahead of me but I am so thankful to have a doctor who makes me feel heard

Dr. Greenspan is, without the slightest doubt, one of the highest quality human beings I have ever met; and he is probably the most valuable doctor (among many) that I see. He is passionate about what he does, highly intelligent, and understanding of the human condition; not to mention his mastery of the subjects of pain, human anatomy and the many systems in all of our bodies. He was the first doctor I've ever had who instantly understood my very painful condition, and took steps to relieve it. His office staff are chips off the same block. They are efficient, pleasant, and will go the extra mile to accommodate my schedule, which was completely messed up before I ever started seeing the good doctor. I would not only refer friends & family, but anyone who is suffering from serious chronic pain.

Dr. Greenspan took me on as a patient about 6 weeks ago. At our initial consultation visit he conducted a very thorough examination and really took the time to help me understand what his thoughts were as to why I was having such bad pain. His bedside manner is incredible, he is very upbeat, positive and happy. His sense of humor is a wonderful trait to have since his is constantly dealing with people who are in pain and in dire need to help/relief. Just his attitude had me feeling better after the consultation. He immediately sent me for an MRI and the results exactly matched his in office diagnosis. He is very knowledgeable about how to treat his patients and really makes you feel comfortable with his diagnosis and his treatment plans. Long story short he suggested steroid injections for my L5 Vertebrae, I have had two so far and they really seem to be helping. When he administered the shots he really put me at ease, again, his positive attitude and, while he is conducting the procedure, he describes everything thing he is doing while he does it. There are no surprises! His office environment is beautiful and very calming, You can tell that much thought went into what the patients needed to feel comfortable from the time they entered his office until the time they left. I would highly recommend Dr. Greenspan (an have with positive results) for anyone that is having pain and is tired of the same old diagnosis with the same old doctors. A++
