Absolutely a disgrace to the Psychiatry practice. I have had so many appointments for MY CHILD canceled, changed, and then the "doctor" does NOT even show up to the scheduled appointment! How do you run a practice like this, especially dealing with mental health! I am appalled that this practice is allowed to be open and that this doctor is allowed to have his license.

This place is awful and I advise everyone to stay away. The guy at the front desk was nice, especially considering I couldn't find the place and ended up being late. But Dr. Chisty is a completely different story. I don't even want to use the title doctor there. He was extremely rude and condescending about all of my mental illnesses. All he did was go off and lecture me about drinking and about having a TV in my room. He kept ignoring everything I tried to tell him. When I started crying and talked about my anxiety and how it's hard to talk to or be around people, he gave me the dirtiest look and said "um, why?" in just the rudest way possible. Then he gave me a prescription without explaining about the pills or the side effects or anything and pretty much booted me out. The guy at the front desk spent more time on me than he did. I left crying and feeling so much worse than when I went in I couldn't believe it. His office even called repeatedly until we paid the bill, which has never happened before because we always pay things on time. The whole experience was just mind-blowingly ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and find a psychiatrist that actually knows what he's talking about and cares about his patients. This place just wants to throw pills at you and take your money as quickly as possible.

Where do I start, He doesn't listen or respond. His office messed up my RX's twice. He wants to up medication and picked him because he stated the opposite. I had an appt. and did receive the rude text on the 24th for cancelation. I became very sick the day before was still going to try and make it but to sick with flu. I called late Sunday night and left a message. Does not matter even if you die you get the fee. Asked for a call from the office mgr. or Dr. waited from 2pm until after 8:30 then went to bed. No call Will be looking for a new Dr. Graduated in 2011 guess he does not need clients. Do no invest your time and health in this Dr.

I had the worst experience! I took my child here by mistake, after reading what I recognize now to be suspicious reviews. We waited forever. He upped the medication in question instead of decreasing it after hearing my daughter felt very uncomfortable during the day. He rushed us out of his office, though there was no one else in the waiting room before or after we arrived. He barely actually spoke to my daughter, instead speaking only to me. I would not recommend putting your child's mental health in the hands of this man.

Here are some highlights for my visit.

I heard the woman at the front desk explain the rude text they send stating the $75 no show fee to an obviously offended patient.

I showed up 15 minutes early, and waited over 45 minutes past my appointment time.

Halfway through my wait, a woman brought me into a room and asked me questions without telling me what she was. I thought she was my doctor at first, as she was wearing a doctor's white coat. She asked all the same questions on the forms, repeatedly. Then she had me wait again until a man in plain clothes came in through the front door nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment and asked "Are you ready for me?"

He asked very few questions, but gave endless anecdotes and examples. He gave me a paper with things to try, and cut me off when I tried to tell him I currently do the suggested activities. He messed up my age, then tried to cover for it, badly. I don't know how, as I had turned in my forms. He could have just looked at my forms.

At some point, for no seemingly good reason, he explained that he tries "not to look like a doctor, not to dress like a doctor."

He called me by the wrong name repeatedly. I corrected him just minutes before he wrote the same wrong name on a prescription I told him I didn't want. I was told to wait through someone else's appointment so he could rewrite the useless prescription. When he rewrote it, he presented it to me and said "Wow, maybe I'M the one who needs ADHD medication." Which bothered me. Way to make light of a disorder, and act like it would cause the average person to lack even the smallest bit of care about their job, or other people.

Now, weeks later, I am told that they are no longer a part of my network, and weren't at the time I made my appointment, or showed up for my appointment. I specifically asked when I made my appointment, "Do you accept Blah Blah Insurance?" and was told they did. I filled out my insurance info for them, twice.

They billed me incorrectly and now I have to dispute the $250 charge. The woman at the front desk passed me off to a billing company who was much nicer and let me know that she's been trying to get the front desk to tell people they are no longer part of my insurance network, but this does keep happening.

I would not deal with their front desk again, even if the doctor was amazing, and he most certainly is not amazing.

I would not deal with the doctor again, even if he was compatible with my insurance-even if he paid me triple my copay, I would not want to listen to him drone on about things I've already been told. Of course, in his defense, he would not know that I've already been told these things because he didn't ask me more than 6 questions the entire time I was there, including:
Are you ready for me?
You're 18 right?
How do you spell Bell? (Not my last name. Not even the right initial.)
Wow, you hardly spoke, do you have self esteem issues?
And one question with a subsequent suggestion and judgement about having children that deeply bothered and offended me.

I do not recommend. This doctor does not care about patients, and is clearly very, very focused on the fees he can charge for no-shows. Too focused to make sure he gets your name right, or to ask you your thoughts, or to tell you you'll have to pay private practice fees, or to get his staff proper training, etc.

This doctor doesn't listen to you. He wants to get you in, change all of your medications, without listening to what you have to say about them and send you on your way. He couldn't care less.
