Appallingly unprofessional: Based on 4 phone calls to the office, the first and last were sent to a voicemail during business hours.
The first recorded message explained that I was new person to the area in distress because my insurance was brand new and I needed a doctor. The voicemail message explained that messages after 4:30 would be answered the next business day. My message was left at 10:15 am on a business day. 1 week afterwards, with no return call, I called again. Spoke to a receptionist who asked a series of questions, and she promised I would receive a call. 4 days later, no response, so I called again to speak to another office assistant who couldn't find my paperwork. Assuming it was on the Dr.'s desk. Sad state if such is the case to ignore that file Dr. Alvi, but I was asked the series of questions AGAIN. Nearly a week later, and still no response, I left the final voicemail. Do not expect any kind of professional attention if you are distressed patient looking for a new Dr. There wasn't even a follow up to my request simply to let me know if she was unable to add me to her list. She is patently unhelpful immediately. More disturbingly, her entire discipline and persona is unprofessional. Whereas hypocrisy is the enemy of professionalism, claiming to be of a field specifically geared toward attending those who require services of an often urgent nature entirely undermines any possibility that she could be helpful, knowledgeable in her field, punctual in any way, or able to manage a staff and their awareness of records.

Dr. Alvi didn't have any beside manners and was extremely unprofessional. She didn't sit once during our meetings and she texting during them also. She was condescending and rude. Very saddening and something needs to be fixed

Not the worst, but certainly not the best

When Dr. Alvi finally called to discuss my daughter, she did not know one thing about her except she was wearing a blue jacket. She was quick to throw a diagnosis at us, but had no goals or plan of action to get my daughter the help she needed. She talked in circles and blamed my frustrations to this on me. She had no desire or intentions of wanting to help my daughter. I would not recommend Dr. Alvi or any facility associated with her. She is not compassionate at all and can care less about the needs of her patients or their families.
