My experience with Homefront veterinary was very unpleasant. Dvm. Kristie L. Souders made a house call due to my 6 year old cane corso having what I thought at the time was a Hygroma. When the vet came to my home she examined my dog and saw that the Hygroma on his elbow was raw, bleeding and very infected. She provided me with antibiotics, pain meds, and a E-collar at a very hefty price at that. A week after treating my dog we called her again Because the dog seemed to be getting worse, which she did not show any compassion and did not even get on the phone she had someone relay the message for her, stating that there was nothing she can do. As a "Trained Vet" she should have advised me, once she saw the dog the first time to take my dog to the emergency animal hospital because the open sore on his elbow was bleeding, ulcerated, and smelled as if it was rotting. With as many years of experience she states having she should have seen that the "Hygroma on his elbow" was not a Hygroma but a very serious type of CANCER! Due to the unprofessional advice of Kristie my dog ended up suffering more than he should have and had to be put down on 1/31/13. Please be aware that this vets priority is the money and not the health or well being of the animal.These pets we own are not just pets they are family that deserve to be treated with respect and up most care that can be provided not neglect! Due to the unprofessional visit of Kristie I had to put my beloved baby to sleep which could have been avoided if the correct diagnose or proper tests would have been done.
