Dr. Sosa is reasonably effective, though his wellness treatments sometimes seem too standardized to support my optimal performance in specific athletic activities. Dr. Sosa doesn't routinely ask which activities I'm performing so, unless I bring up what I'm doing physically and at work, I get a routing upper back and neck adjustment and nothing for my extremities (e.g., joints) or lower back. That noted, my biggest concern has been around my medical records. I've repeatedly mentioned to Dr. Sosa that his office's medical record software creates a default visit record that is incomplete, inaccurate, and imprecise. For example, the default visit record indicates that I am experiencing a high level of discomfort even though this is not and almost never has been the case. Almost all of my visits have been for physical performance optimization, injury prevention, and muscolo-skeletal wellness (i.e., for health maintenance and not for treatment of injuries). The default visit record incorrectly and erroneously suggests that I have serious chronic pain. It does not include information about my actual (healthy) condition and treatment goals. The faulty/fraudulent information would/will be a huge challenge if I'm ever injured by a third party and need to demonstrate my healthy condition before and hurt condition after some incident. Despite consistent and repeated requests that my medical record be corrected to reflect my very healthy state, the record continues to incorrectly suggest that I have a chronic condition that needs serious treatment. Also, some years ago, when I was injured in a bike accident and needed three months of adjustments to eliminate soreness and regain full range of motion, my medical records from Dr. Sosa suggested greater severity than actually existed and included chiropractic interventions that never occurred. That is, each visit (e.g., for a simple adjustment) was improperly documented so that it looked like the visits/interventions were far more complex than they actually were and that I was receiving far more care than I was actually receiving. Again, this made and makes my condition seem dire, which it was not and is not. I am very healthy, but you'd never know it looking at Dr. Sosa's medical records for me.

My pain was not lessened after my visit. I felt no difference at all and was still in pain when I left. They had me reschedule several times, telling me each time that when I came back I would get the results of my Xrays, all the while billing my insurance for an office visit each time. After several visits with no information, I made an appointment with a real doctor.
