In 1999 Dr. Kathie found out what was causing my wife's migraines and chronic fatigue syndrome. My wife had been seen by a neurosurgeon--he implanted a lumbar shunt to relieve the pressure, but never found the cause. A week at Mayo Clinic in MN gave the same diagnosis as all the doctors she went to in our hometown of Louisville, KY: migraines and chronic fatigue.

Dr. Kathie was recommended by friends and we drove the five hours to meet with her. She is a dedicated Christian and helped us from the first visit. My wife was on oxycontin for pain; her GP allowed her to stop taking it, but didn't help with the withdrawls. Dr. Kathie counselled my wife on the phone, praying with her as she went through that horrible experience. Dr. Kathie ran some tests and found what no one else had found: an allergy to corn, along with some other allergies. That was mid-1999. By the end of the year, my wife was off all meds (she was on 8 different ones in early 1999), the migraines were GONE, her energy returned, and she returned to college to become an RN at age 39. She graduated from nursing school at the top of her class in 2003, and today we are missionaries in the remote jungle of Papua New Guinea (see us at www.ThatTheyMayKnow.com).

We thank the Lord for Dr. Kathie and we thank Dr. Kathie for being a blessing!
