I was in my 9th month of pregnancy and had a pinched nerve of some sort in my hip that left me temporarily paralyzed. I was in so much pain I couldn't even walk and my husband had to carry me, even one step to the bathroom. I had been getting massages, stretching, going in a swimming pool to try to shift the baby, and tried everything. A midwife at my hospital recommended him (as Kaiser does not have chiropractors, this was her personal recommendation). I had never been to a chiropractor before and was a bit skeptical, but was in so much pain I was willing to try anything. He got me in the next day (he would have seen me the same day, but my husband wasn't able to drive me that day) and literally fixed me in one session. Unfortunately my insurance did not cover the visit, but he was very reasonably priced and worth every penny. To say the least, Jim is a miracle worker!

I first met Dr. Jim in the late eighties through a reference. At the time an injury occurred due to a twist and fall during judo competition. (I have been involved in judo & jujitsu my entire life). I explained that I had to be on a plane to St. Louis for a business meeting. I "crawled" in and walked out and made the meeting.
Most martial artists find a chiropractor that they depend on and I am no exception. Having lived in various locales I have had several good professionals and know what to look for. I can honestly say that Dr. Jim is the absolute best in manipulation--the old fashioned kind that works quickly.

I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. They've given me a ton of nutritional and lifestyle tips. They know how important it is for my recovery. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. The equipment they used during my adjustment seemed very current and safe. You could tell everything was well taken care of.
