Having been a nurse for over 10 years, I have seen many of my colleagues suffer from back pain due to injury on the job. Because of this, I have always been extremely careful to bend, lift, and stretch in a way that would protect me from any type of injury. Last fall, despite all of my careful practices, I hurt my lower back. I was in excruciating pain and out of work for several days before seeking medical attention. My medical doctor wanted to give me pain medicine and muscle relaxers until the pain disappeared. Since I was unable to walk or work, I became desperate. I sought out a chiropractor in Charlotte, and stumbled upon Dr. Stephen Cohen. Dr. Cohen treated my back pain in 1 visit. It was a miracle, and because of this I began to see him for other ailments as well. Dr. Cohen treated me for migraines, scoliosis, and infertility. I am a healthier and happy individual by being under his care. During my visits, not only did Dr. Cohen teach me how to prevent this injury again, but he spoke to me about diet and sleep and treated me with a holistic approach that I loved. I highly recommend him and his practice to all.

I have a bad lower back - and I've tried so many things to help with it (especially once it tightens up and becomes extremely painful) and 25-30 minutes with Dr. Cohen ALWAYS alleviates the pain and stiffness. There really is no one else I trust to go to.

Dr. Cohen’s Chiropractic practices have made and huge impact in my daily life. I was struggling with TMJ and jaw pain for several years. Not only did his methods relieve me of my pain, but it also opened up a new level of energy for me in my daily life after the treatments began. My jaw was to the point where I could hardly chew food and turn my neck without my jawbone slipping out of place. After just a couple of treatments with Dr. Cohen I was well on my way to full recovery. Once my jaw had been relieved of the pain, I continued to visit monthly for some preventive maintenance. Today I can truly say my jaw has not felt this good in years, and I certainly could not have gotten to this point without Dr. Cohen’s help. I looked for a solution in several other arenas before I went see Dr. Cohen. No one could seem to understand the pain I was expressing nor could they find a solution. The best part of Dr. Cohen is that he really listens to his patient’s issue and does a thorough job of explaining his treatment. He will never rush you through an appointment and you will certainly get the BEST personalized treatment on every visit.
