My wife was hit by a car over 20 years ago. It shredded her leg and left her constant pain. My wife is also 75% hearing impaired, with a speech impairment. She isn't good with quick conversation so I usually do the talking and relay to her any pertinent questions.

We go in and while recapping her past history of medications and treatments, the doctor looks me right in the eye and tells me "Leave the diagnosing to me." This statement came out of no where and seemed to indicate some sort of anger issue. Since I was there for my wife, I just kept quiet.

My wive's pain is hard to pinpoint. There are specific areas like joints but for the most part it tends to be nerve pain all over. The doctor wanted to take one area such as knees and focus on that. until it was better and them move on to the next. We tried explaining that wasn't a good course of treatment for her pain but he kept cutting us off. He seemed to be very insulted that we might know more about her pain than he does.

We aren't looking for a quick fix, but we were certainly looking for something more comprehensive than one small piece of the puzzle at a time. But now knowing he was a chiropractor I can understand his history of treating one problem at a time. We thought he was a pain specialist, but it seems that he is some one who believes that all pain is caused by back mis-alignment.

We asked to have a few minutes to discuss whether we wanted to do this long term route which wouldn't provide any real benefit for years, or should we go elsewhere. We only had a couple of minutes before the doctor came in and said there was nothing more he could do for us and ushered us to the door.

I am not sure if he just didn't like us or what the case was, but he didn't respect my wife at all. He didn't seem to respect us as people who might need a minute to consider options. I absolutely would never go back.

Russell Radican, D.C.'s primary concern is what's best for me, and only gives me the advice that would benefit me the most. I will definitely recommend Russell Radican, D.C. to people I know. It is obvious that Primary Care Chiropractic Center's office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic! Russell Radican, D.C. is always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. Russell Radican, D.C. would never use foul language! They always go the extra effort to be polite and courteous!
