I went to see Dr. Brown because of lower back pain on my right side that radiates around to the front. Also, I had a difficult time turning my neck to the side and was experiencing tingling and numbness in my left palm. I hadn't seen him before, but since my previous chiropractor doesn't accept my new insurance, I decided to give Dr. Brown a shot. He worked me in within 24 hours of my call; moreover, my first appointment was on a Saturday morning. I was amazed that the symptoms in my left hand completely went away after the first visit, and I was able to turn my head freely within about an hour. Dr. Brown stated it will take maybe 6 to 10 visits to clear up my lower back issue. It is worth noting that my previous chiropractor took much longer to correct problems, probably because the other chiropractor relied strictly on an activator, which in all reality isn't well suited for lower back problems according to several peer reviewed journals that I have read (I'm big into searching topics due to holding several REP certifications in addition to my degrees). Fewer visits makes me very happy considering my previous chiropractor worked on me for over 25 visits to clear up a similar problem several years ago, and I ended up with a $1600 bill. It is nice to know Dr. Brown can clear up the problem more quickly and for less money. I'll definitely be back, and I would recommend him to anyone. As for someone else's comment that the office is in a bad area, it isn't. It is in a business complex that is located within an Olathe subdivision off of I-35 and Santa Fe (Clairborne specifically) and near a few apartments. The houses in this area are probably valued at $170k plus.

They did not pressure me at all to return. They gave me the information I needed and left the choice up to me. Richard Brown, D.C. had quite a few interesting magazines. They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared. I never had to doubt Richard Brown, D.C.'s qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer! I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there.
